Thank You for Making Soirée 2024 a Record-Breaking Success!

We are thrilled to share the amazing results of Soirée 2024 and express our deepest gratitude to everyone who attended, donated, or supported us in any way. The energy in the room on Saturday night was palpable, and it’s all thanks to you—our incredible community of supporters!

A New Milestone: Over $99,000 Raised! 🌟

This year, Soirée 2024 reached a record-breaking fundraising total of $99,405! Your generosity will directly benefit our mission to prevent new cases of HIV and Hepatitis C across northeast Indiana. This incredible support will allow us to continue providing essential resources, education, and care to those who need it most in our community. We cannot thank you enough for making this possible!

A Night to Remember 🎉

We were thrilled to have over 275 guests at our sold-out event this year. What made the evening even more remarkable was the last-minute venue change. Just weeks before Soirée, we learned that our original location, The Fairfield, wouldn’t be ready in time. With less than three weeks to go, we made the quick switch to The Pearl, and the night went off without a hitch!

John O’Connell, our lively emcee, and Brandon Steffen, our dynamic auctioneer, brought an incredible energy to the room. Thanks to their efforts and your generous bidding, our live auction raised nearly $20,000. In fact, the excitement was so high that one donor offered their Night of Wine Tasting and Education experience a second time, leading to an additional round of bidding and bringing the total live auction amount to $22,400—a historical record for us!

After the auction, Good Night Gracie kept the dance floor packed until 11 p.m. with a string of hit songs that kept the celebration going strong!

Why We Gathered: Zero is Possible ✨

The cause behind Soirée 2024 is one we hold close to our hearts. The Positive Resource Connection is dedicated to preventing new cases of HIV and Hepatitis C in northeast Indiana, and we truly believe that Zero is Possible. By increasing access to PrEP, PEP, and providing HIV and Hepatitis C testing and education, we are working to reduce new transmissions and empower individuals with the resources they need. Your partnership with us through the 36th annual Soirée directly impacts our ability to reach this goal.

Celebrating a New Chapter in Community Health

Jun 26 2024

On Friday, June 21 at 10am the Positive Resource Connection, in partnership with Alliance Health Centers, marked a significant milestone in health services for Fort Wayne, especially the southeast side of Fort Wayne and for the LGBTQ+ community. The red ribbon-cutting ceremony at our office building, 525 Oxford Street, celebrated not only the unveiling of a new primary care clinic but also the dedication of a vibrant new mural, symbolizing hope and unity in our community.
