Walls, Doors, and Rooms, Oh My!

Agency News

Hold on to your hard-hats! The PRC is busting walls, moving doors, and upgrading the guts of our office! Through a generous grant from the Indiana State Department of Health and great collaborations with the Fort Wayne Urban Enterprise, Shawnee Construction, and MKM Designs, we will begin major renovations this fall. This is a welcome opportunity to enhance the level of dignity our clients and guests will experience as well as upgrade the structural professionalism of our building and improve the efficiency of our service programs. You can expect to see and experience: new office spaces and upgraded existing offices; an entrance that will actually be off of Oxford Street (after all, our address is 525 OXFORD STREET!); a larger Gregory L. Manifold Food Pantry for clients; a more welcoming and comfortable waiting room; improved security measures; improved privacy for clients; and more. It’s a minimum of a four-month project and the doors will stay open through it all. We’re getting our “excuse our dust” signs ready for the long-haul but it will be so worth it when we’re done! We’ll keep you posted on Facebook and Instagram so you can see the progress in real-time. If you haven’t liked our Facebook page or aren’t following us on Instagram – now would be a fun time to start!
